The people that our ££££££ of raised cash will go to!

The Mongol Rally is all about charity, and so here are our chosen Mongolian charities we will be rallying for. First of all Mercy Corps, which is compulsory. We have chosen Camda to be our second charity, as it seems like a very worthy cause!

If we raise enough money to push beyond our target donation levels, it will be used to help get the car into Mongolia and to help us return home to the UK safely.

Since 1979, Mercy Corps has provided £600 million in assistance to people in 100 nations. Supported by headquarters offices in North America, Europe and Asia, the agency's unified global programmes employ 3,400 staff worldwide and reach nearly 14.4 million people in more than 35 countries.

	For a small charity we have a long reach. With just a few entirely voluntary members, our aid effort stretches several thousand miles to remote areas of Mongolia. Our projects there span many hundreds of square kms, from Khenti, to Bulgan, Selenge and Khuvsgul in the north, to Dundgobi on the desert fringe in the south. Our aid ranges from provision of grass cutting machinery, to well-refurbishment, and veterinary aid for horses and camels.
